lunarenigme  planted this in my head with her love of 50's fashions.  I started browsing through ModCloth and realized a lot of the dresses were constructed quite simply.

I have had much the same thought. I think in the long-run making your own clothing would be MUCH cheaper... and you can make exactly what you'd like.

It is a time-issue for me.. I just don't have the time. >_
