w00t, I just completed the draft version of the last major section of my master's thesis and mailed it off to my advisor.  (writing about masculinity in Inoue Takehiko's "Slam Dunk", which I just read for the first time a couple weeks back in preparation for this.  It's totally rad if you haven't read it.).  I've still got quite a damn ways to go

yeah, dunno. I assume it really only means thesis in the sense of an idea as opposed to a piece of writing which is almost always "ronbun"
