i didn't think a statistic from the National Summit of Women Veterans Issues was regurgitated and untrue. if you can't trust information from women who have been to war, who can you trust for information on that stuff ( ... )

I know and perhaps I am a little sensitive to people trying to tell me things my recruiter may not have. I want you to consider for a moment things from my perspective- I have taken so much shit for my decision (not saying that you are currently giving me shit I just mean in general.) and find it pretty confusing when everyone is telling me different things. Unfortunately, the military is something everyone has an opinion about, and they are all too eager to share it when they are told someone has joined. I guess my point was that EVERYONE is trying to tell me some things the recruiter may not have. I would also like to sit down and talk about the military with you, but I am afraid that I don't have much information to back up what I say or my decision. I just followed my heart on this one.

I think that you are definitely following your heart and I don't know what else you can really go on. If you want to do this, I say "rock out, and you go kick some ass! (linguistically speaking)" Best of luck, and keep us all posted.
