Truffle was on her own in the petshop for three weeks running.
The first week, i said: "There's no way i'm getting another rabbit".
The second week, i said: "I've never seen one like her before".
The third week, i said: "She IS lovely, though. Could i hold her just for a sec?"

I came home in a taxi with my new bunny! The next day i returned and collected Egg. :-) I had an idea they'd look quite cute together, tho' i can't think what gave me that idea.

oh bless, poor Truffle and yes they are the most adorable couple in the world.

When I decided to get a friend for Morgan, i was determined to get a lop until Perdy turned up and I fell in love with the 'orrible pudding. I would have loved to take honeybunny home but i think 5 would have been too much. i still ache for a fat lop gruntskin though.

I meant to ask you, (this is pig related): what do you use in the base of your pen? Do you use fleece or towelling or something else? We are looking into making a pen for all the pigs to live in together and have more space but we wanted, if poss, to get away from using straw (Russell bedding) except in the litter trays. Any tips?

we have a C&C pen and I put fleece on the bottom and towelling on the top. Fleece shrinks like anything in a hot wash by the way. i don't use straw at all. My boys are right stinkers and i tend to clean them out everyday so the towelling is good to shake out in the base.
