Quick pic - Sigyn's necklace

I have five minutes before dashing out the door to watch a bunch of six year olds play cricket, so I thought I'd add a pic or two of the necklace I finished today.  They're not wonderfully clear or detailed, but whakinyado...

I'd had this big, faceted, teardrop-shaped rainbow obsidian pendant for ages, but couldn't find anything I wanted to put with

Pretty!

I am currently in process of making a beady thing for Freyja with amber droplets (of the glass variety, since I'm a poor college student) with pretty green and pretty red beads.

Deities do like pretty things...

My daughter and I have a mother-of-pearl chip bracelet on Freyja's shelf. I don't know much about it, but I've heard something of one of Freyja's names, Mardoll(?), meaning something like "woman of the sea". I'd like to look into that - it makes sense to me, given that Njordh is Her father. :)

If ever you do want to buy real amber, look for Colombian amber. It's way cheaper than Baltic, even if it's not as clear. :)
