Today was my day off (and the last until Sunday).  I went to the bank and set up an account to deposit any money for school that I recieve or take in out in loans into.  Hopefully the way my Aunt and I have worked it out, I won't need to use the money that I'll take from the student loans and I can have that in an account for emergencies while it ( Read more... )

Stuff is pretty busy right now.  I'm getting lots of hours at work, which is going to work out very well for me, as I'm putting away as much money for school before we actually start in September.  I got my textbooks yesterday.  It was really exciting, even if there is quite the stack of them.  Kelly and I had fun looking at the anatomy one...lol ( Read more... )

I had an awesome evening with Alex downtown last week.  We had a good time chatting, and he introduced me to Blenz coffee.  Sooo good.

Provincial marks are out for those who took them.  Couple days early, I know, but they're all up and running.  The site's a tad slow however, probably cause a lot of people are checking their marks at once.

Closing shifts are tiring.  However, somehow I've gone from having 12 hours this week to 19 because of people not being able to make shifts and me being able to take them.  Lol..this Sunday I'm doing a three hour shift at the A&W on Douglas cause they didn't think that maybe they shouldn't schedule a full staff meeting on the night that the big car ( Read more... )

So I went to UVic for the day yesterday with my mum (after I insured my car!  yay for being able to drive again).  I made an appointment with an academic counsellor to make sure that I have indeed signed up for the correct courses, and to see if I could get into Music 170: Basic Musicianship as an elective.  I also picked up the audition pieces for ( Read more... )

I hung out with Jen and Molly today.  Twas good times with car rides and sitting in the grass.  How I missed that.

I got a 70 on my piano exam!  That gets me honours, not just a pass, but honours!  I'm sooo happy with that.  Now all I have to do is wait two more weeks for provincial exam marks to come out.
