I'd already heard about SGA and the new Stargate spinoff and thought "whatever," but then I read this article and I actually felt disappointment.

lol this is awesome. XD i could totally see it happening in the pilot, except it will suck instead of being awesome because they're doing it seriously and not mockingly. *-_- but anyway, i loved it. you could write better stuff than them! then again, that's not so hard to do at this point. >_>

Seriously, that quote reminded me of the Batman: The Animated Series episode, "Mean Seasons," when the TV producers introduced those youth-centered shows: a group of young, beautiful veterinarians having fun and saving lives on the beach! ("OMG We've got to, like, help this baby dolphin, Dr. Kelly!"); he's a street-smart kid, but he's also a tough street cop!
