Replicator problems [Enterprise - Emma's room, Scotty]

After her visit with Lenny, Em decided to return to her room for a quick shower then probably more studying up on the counselor position before calling it a day. Maybe learn how to knit in the mean time. Stepping out of the small bathroom, she wrapped a towel around herself and walked up to the replicator to generate new clothes ( Read more... )

"Uh, wrong with the replicator how?" Scotty responded almost immediately, because luck of lucky lucks was on Emma's side this time.

"I tried to get it to spit out clothes but all I've got is very colorful goo." she replied. "Almost want to put some of it in a petri dish and send it to the labs. I don't think it's done anything else. Just...replicates this odd...viscous liquid."

Em quickly fished through the mess in her room for the robe that Joanna got her for Christmas. Better than just hanging around in a towel, at least. Damnit, where'd I put it?

"Uh hi, Scotty!" she called out. Em gave him a sheepish grin. "Replicator's on the fritz and I kind of...rather need it." She kept a firm grip on the towel and waved at the contraption with pink and blue and brown puddles around it.

"Uh, I can see that." Scotty said, blushing rather dramatically. "I'll uh, go over there and hide my face for a bit, while you finish what you're doing."

Em pinched the bridge of her nose, hoping that the blush on her cheeks was imagined and not seen. "That's...sort of the problem. I kind of needed...clothes."
