I'm looking at April for the procedure (if all my health insurance paperwork moves through the pipelines correctly) and of course I shall document everything here!
It will be nice to have a flat tummy, especially for summer holidays. JM and I are going to California. I cannot imagine what it will be like to put on a bathing suit and not be all sucking in my gut.
One thing I didn't mention in the post is the scar. You end up with a scar that goes from hip to hip, dipping down to your pubis. It is really thin and can be covered up with something as small as a g-string. I have no issue with the resulting scar, and in fact, am thrilled as they will be removing the vertical scar I've had since my c-section (first born). So basically I'm swapping one really thick and visible scar with one thin, fine one which will fade and turn white with time.
