A week had passed, and no one had managed to find any trace of Yuto, and Keito still hadn’t budged an inch from his bed.
“Keito…. You should get up and walk a little bit at least…” Chinen pleaded as he sat by the boy’s bedside
“Yeah… or… read something, I’ll get a book from Inoo-Chan, it’s not good just to keep thinking about him…” Hikaru added
“No… thanks… “ The two boys looked at each other before sighing and walking out of the room.
“I’m so alone….” Keito whispered to himself, and in the vast emptiness of his bedroom…. He believed himself.
And so it went for the whole week, no matter what anyone said, no matter what anyone did, Keito sat there, waiting. He thought of nothing but Yuto, and did nothing but pray for his return. Somehow, the world seemed so dull without him…
“Guy’s it’s been more than a week already! This can’t go on for much longer! Keito’s already so thin, and….and…” Yabu stuttered as he suddenly felt at a loss for words.
“What can we do? Dai-Chan’s already got his men out searching every night, Takaki-Kun has distributed a missing person’s report all over the television, and Yama-chan’s private investigator has already spent the last week looking for leads…we’re stuck…” Ryutaro sunk down in his seat.
“We can’t give up…” Daiki replied, pouring himself a cup of warm tea. He solemly walked to the clear glass door that faced the small garden on the Okamoto grounds. Without another word, he sipped quietly and stared out against the lush green grasses and the calm scenery.
“Who knew… that such a beautiful world could be so cruel..” he said to no one in particular.
“Guys! Guys!” I’ve got a lead, but I don’t know if its real or not… but it seems a lot more promising than some of the other stuff. Yamada ran into the room.
“W-Where’d you get it?” Hikaru asked
“Off the small missing person’s line that we set up, this guy…. Told me that he had seen a boy like this go into a little bar on the south side of Tokyo…I think it was called mizu…chi”
“Mizuki’s” Daiki blurted out.
“What?”
“Mizuki’s…. it's the name of the bar you’re looking for… it’s a haven for underground activities, but no group that I know of fits this type of kidnapping…..” Daiki turned and stared at his friends.
“Uwa… scary Dai-Chan is here….” Ryutaro whimpered a little as he felt the pressure of Daiki’s gaze.
“Yama-chan, do not send in any of your people… this is better handled…. By my side of things….” He said sternly, to which the younger boy merely nodded, awe stricken by Daiki’s resolve. The other boys watched as their friend walked in Large strides over to the phone and picked it up, hesitating only a little.
“Dai-Chan? What are you going to do?” Chinen asked, but received no response.
“Hello, Otou-san?” Daiki spoke
“I have a favor… regarding my missing friend…”
“It’s Dai-Chan’s father…” Yabu whispered
“I need… to send people to Mizuki’s in the south of Tokyo… I think he’s there… and also whoever is responsible…. I’d like to go as well…” He finished.
Anxiously the other 8 boys waited for the response, as their friend nodded on the telephone, and spoke only a simple “Arigatou” and hung up.
“Guys… my cars will be here in ten minutes, to take us to Mizuki’s I suggest you tell Keito… and prepare yourselves” Daiki turned and spoke firmly
“Sasaki, Keito will be riding with us, there is no need to prepare the car.” He said again, as the older man bowed his acknowledgement and walked out.
“But I hope you’ll be prepared for what could happen afterwards….”
True to his word, ten minutes later, three cars pulled up to the front of Okamoto estate. It was a vast contrast to what the boys were usually used to. The three dark black cars felt so dark and cold, and as they watched the middle car opened and two large men came out and bowed.
“Daiki-Sama” They greeted in unison.
“Thank you for your work.” Daiki nodded as he got into the car, dressed in a pure black suit. He nodded to the other boys who slowly got in, pulling Keito in with them.
“We’re almost there Keito, almost there… then you can be with Yuto again….” Yabu tried his best to comfort the boy, but it seemed his words went unnoticed.
“We don't know that he’s there for sure….” Keito spoke, his voice soft and barely above a whisper.
“Guys…..this place that we’re going to is dangerous, I wont lie to you… but be prepared….I would have liked it… if you guys had never witnessed too much of this side of my world… but…. now it can’t be helped..” Daiki sighed.
“It’s okay…Dai-Chan… we don’t think any differently of you…” Ryutaro smiled weakly.
“Yeah you’re still our nice…. Kind and gentle friend…” Yabu commented
“Who can kick some butt…..” Hikaru added, causing everyone but Keito to giggle slightly.
After about twenty minutes of driving, the cars pulled up to a shady little neighborhood, and the boys got out. The street was dark as the fluttering lightbulbs in the streetlamps were on their last legs. They stood in front of an old rundown bar, the windows were decorated with enough stickers to cover any actual glass, and held up only a single sign that signaled the bar was open. Daiki walked forward and pushed open the door, immediately the room fell silent as the nine boys walked in.
“Well well…. You know this place is dangerous don't you kids? And who are you? Dressed up like you’re part of the yakuza?” A drunken man stumbled up to Daiki and grabbed his collar. In a flash the situation was reversed and the man was bent over a table, howling in pain as his arm was being twisted.
“Hey stop!” The barkeeper yelled, and Daiki nodded to him, shoving the man back into the crowd.
“You idiot! That is Daiki Arioka, one of the two sons of the Arioka group…” A man scolded the drunkard before rushing forward and apologizing profusely for his underling’s “rude behavior”. As his explanation surged through the crowd of men, everyone took a step back.
“Kazama-San, I need to go down…” Daiki said to the barkeeper who merely nodded and opened the door to the back room. In place of what seemed to be the stairs to the basement of the building, was actually a long tunnel.
“This is the underground of southern Tokyo…” Daiki explained as they made their way through the winding paths. Eventually they came to a large common area, filled with men, the smells of smoke and alcohol ran through the air.
“Who here, knows anything about the kidnapping of this boy?” Daiki yelled out, holding a picture of Yuto in his hands.
“Who wants to know…?”
“I do..”
“Hmph, Kid, you better get outta here…” The gruff man that replied turned around, ignoring the intrusion.
“You’d better answer my question…” Daiki warned
“Or what? You gonna do something to me?” The challenge came, and almost immediately he came charging through the room.
“Got it.” Chinen called as he rushed forward with incredible speed and in a matter of seconds the man was unconscious on the floor.
“Anyone else?” The little boy smirked as all the people in the room backed away. An awkward silence filled the room as no one dared to talk and only shrank under heavy gaze of the boys. After a few more seconds, a sudden clanging of chairs rang through the room as one of the men in the corner ran forward and past the boys, escaping up the stairs.
“Hey!” Ryutaro ran after him as the rest of the boys followed. The man ran as far as the door of the bar before he turned around. Seeing that Ryutaro was still on him, he turned and bolted out the door.
“Hey! Come back!” Ryutaro called and immediately something whizzed by his head. He watched as the object, whatever it was flew right at the man and hit him square on the back of his head. The man crumpled down onto the concreted sidewalk, writing in pain.
“Daiki-Sama! Are you okay?” The two men who had been watching from the car ran out. With a single finger Daiki pointed to the fallen figure and snapped his finger.
“Bring him……” He said, the two men immediately grabbed the still unconscious man and brought him back into the car.
Just as Daiki turned to face his friends again, all the seriousness, all the intensity melted away from his face as he returned to his weakened smile.
“Yokatta…. Thank goodness…” He sighed.

They had returned not to Okamoto Manor, but rather to the Arioka’s private estate. They had thrown the man into the middle of Daiki’s large study and tied him to a chair.
“Where is our friend?”
“What did you do with him?”
“Why did you take him?”
Questions were asked for well over an hour but each receiving nothing more than a dirty look. Each boy took their turn with the man, trying to ask him questions, all unsuccessful. That is, until Keito’s turn.
“You…” Keito mumbled as he stepped in front of the man, his voice sounding different than usual.
“What? You going to try to ask me questions too? Well forget it…” The man challenged closing his eyes.
“No… but I want you to know what you’ve caused me…. everything you’ve caused me..” Keito’s voice grew angrier.
“Wha-what?” The man’s eyes opened in time to watch Keito step next to him and as the boy laid a single hand on his body and applied pressure the man started howling in pain.
“Did you know… that the nerves on this part of the body are easily damaged? Don’t worry is not permanent… but it’ll hurt like hell until I undo it….” Keito said.
“AAHh” The man tried his best to deal with the pain.
“It won’t go away…. You think you’ll get used to it… but you wont….. “ Keito taunted
“AHhh” The man screamed again as the pain got worse, he felt as if there were a needle poking that single nerve and he struggled against the ropes tying him to the chair.
“Now tell me… where is Yuto…? WHERE is the boy that you took?” Keito asked, his voice suddenly stern.
“I’ll never tell you!” The man yelled above his own screams
“Then I’ll show you what heartache is…”
With a quick motion of his hands, Keito struck the man in the chest, knocking him back a little into the chair. The other boys watched in horror as the man started to gasp for air.
“Keito!” Chinen jumped up.
“Keito you can’t do that to him…. You cant…” Yamada ran to the man’s side as he began to turn purple.
“Why not….? Its just what he’s done to me….” Keito turned, letting his back face the man. Despite however mad his was, a great sadness built within him, he sniffled a little, having failed to get any information… the idea of really losing Yuto came closer and closer to reality… and the very thought…. Scared him.
When Keito had left the room, the other boys crowded around the man, who by now was coming close to passing in and out of consciousness.
“W-What do we do?”
“I think…. If I remember the medical books correctly…. Keito hit here, the small nerve that controls the heart… hitting it is basically like simulating a heart attack….it’s incredibly small and even very few surgeons can find it… mou… as expected of the heir to Okamoto hospital ne~” Inoo sighed
“So… can you undo it?” Hikaru asked as the man’s head started to droop, and his gasps for air got less and less intense
“I think….. here.” Inoo hit the man in the same place to release the nerve. Immediately the man gasped for air, the substance that he had been starved for.
“It worked….. impressive Inoo-chan.” Yabu gave his friend a pat on the back before turning his attention to the prisoner in the chair
“Listen… I don't think… you want to have that happen to you again…so… if you know something…. You’d better tell us…Maybe we’ll even fix that other thing that our friend did to you…” He smiled slyly.
This time… the man knew defeat…..

The boys stepped out of the car in front of a large warehouse. They gazed at the impressive outside, as two men stood watch at the gates.
“You’d better get us in…” Daiki warned the man as he lowered the car window
“Hey… who are these kids?” One of the guards at the gates asked
“It’s… just some kids that the boss wants to see.. I gotta get in.” The man said.
“Ah…. Okay…” The guard nodded and signaled for the gate to be opened.
As they pulled up to the main compound of the warehouse, they saw another two men guarding the door.
“This is some operation isn’t it?” Takaki looked on in wonder as they got out of the car.
It was then that the man had decided to run, he bolted towards the two yelling for them to stop those kids from getting in.
“I knew it…” Daiki sighed as again a blur passed him and in another instant Chinen was standing on the unconscious bodies of the guards.
“You know… it’s just a little bit freaky how fast you can do that….” Yamada commented
“Practice….” Chinen shrugged as the walked into the building. It looked as though the entire warehouse had been split into rooms. The dimly lit rooms all were held together by makeshift walls, it looked like a prison…
“Well well well…. Kids….” A sinister voice rang out through the hollow night air and echoed through the warehouse walls. As they turned, they saw a man sitting behind an ornate desk.
“Hey old geezer… where’d you put this boy..?” Daiki came to the front, holding Yuto’s picture.
“My my….. that’s not a very nice way to address someone is it?” The man laughed evilly
“Enough talk… where is he?” Ryutaro piped up.
“Oh your friend… is right here…..come.” The man turned his head to the side and motioned with his finger. As he did a body walked out of the shadows and into the light. In an instant, Keito recognized the milky white skin, the gentle complexion, and even Yuto’s eyes. Except, they were different this time…. They were hollow and cold.
“Yuto!” Keito called, but nothing happened. They watched as Yuto simply stood beside the man, as if in a trance, his hollow eyes did nothing but blink and stare off into space.
“Oh my my… your friend can’t really hear you… you see.. he’s sort of … become our little slave….” The man behind the desk laughed
“W-What!? What did you say? Whoever you are-“ Hikaru was cut short as the man burst out laughing
“I’m sorry… I didn't introduce myself….My name is Hakubi… and this is my clan. We specialize in debt collection, sometimes what we collect are people… and we sell them…to other people to pay off their debts…. Yes…. See your friend’s family… promised him to me.” The man threw a photo in front of the boys, the picture showed Yuto’s adoptive parents offering a little boy that everyone recognized as a younger Yuto to somebody outside the picture.
“Those two again… I’ll crush em…..” Daiki muttered angrily.
“So now…. This boy here…. Is mine to do whatever I want with…” Hakubi stood up and walked around Yuto. He pulled down the zipper of the thin jacket that Yuto was wearing and tossed it aside, as you can see… we do fine work in training and conditioning our slaves….” The man taunted.
“Yuto… my god….” Keito sighed, he turned his eyes away as he couldn’t bear to see the multitudes of bruises and cuts on his boyfriend’s body. He felt like crying… but the situation wouldn’t let him. Yuto’s eyes were so.. empty… his presence was gone…
“In fact… he barely even feels pain….” Hakubi continued as he picked up a needle from his desk and dragged it along Yuto’s left arm, cutting him and letting a small amount of blood flow down his arm and drip onto the floor.
“Even on the other side of the body…..” the man moved to Yuto’s right side and as he was about to cut Yuto again, Keito ran out and screamed for him to stop, causing Hakubi to smile evilly.
“Here’s what’s going to happen boys….. your friend here…. He’s already mine…. And you boys are going to go home……. I have no problem with you…. But if you come and try to steal my property… well…. We’re going to have some problems…..” Hakubi said as he sat down at his desk again.
“Besides…. Your friend’s got a very promising career… he’s already got a few appointments to keep with some of my…. Investors.” He laughed
“You… sell humans to other people…. What kind of monster are you?” Yamada asked
“Oh little boy… I sell services… that just happen to be provided by humans… and when those humans run out of usefulness… then I sell them…” The man laughed, his loud and boisterous laughs echoed through the room.
“Yuto… Yuto… it’s me…. Yuto… say something…..” Keito said, trying desperately to get a rise out of the boy, but nothing happened again. Yuto’s eyes stared ahead at him blankly.
“Go home boys…..” Hakubi insisted as 7 large men stepped out of the shadows.
“Forget it….. we’re taking him.” Daiki stepped up and raised his fists.
“Then…. Show them the door…” Hakubi flicked his wrist as the men came charging forward.
“Yuto!” Keito ran forward and dodged a swing from one of the men. He ran up to his boyfriend. He shook him to try and wake him up , his hand feeling the wet and warm blood that was flowing down his arm.
“Get rid of him…” Hakubi hissed, putting a knife into Yuto’s hand. And slowly Yuto turned, and in his trance-like state he began to lash out, brandishing the knife and trying to hit Keito.
“Yuto… Yuto please!” Keito begged as he dodged swipe after swipe of the knife. Yuto’s cold eyes stared back at him as his arms kept moving.
“Yuto… if this is what you want now… then so be it…. I’d rather die by your hand than live without you!” Keito cried as he stopped and grabbed Yuto’s free hand. He squeezed it tightly as he closed his eyes and puffed out his chest, ready for the knife. After a while, he felt nothing….
“Y-Yuto?” Keito opened his eyes to see the hollow eyed figure struggling with something. The knife had missed Keito, despite how close he was, it looked…. Like Yuto had cut himself… His hand shook as his fingers turned white from how tightly he gripped the knife handle.
“Yuto!?” Keito asked worriedly. Trying to shake the boy awake. Then…. He saw it.
For an instant, those cold brown eyes turned warm again as Yuto’s face gave him a look of such sadness.
“Keito…. I’m sorry....…” Yuto whispered, as a single tear streamed down his face before the cold eyes returned, and he collapsed onto the ground, his blood forming a small pool beneath him.
“Yuto!” Keito knelt down immediately and tore off his jacket, he ripped his shirt into shreads and immediately began to stop the bleeding.
“Yuto…wake up… wake up… please…”
But all his cries… went unanswered…
“Help… please….” Keito cried as he buried his head into Yuto’s chest, his tears flowed down the boy’s bare skin and soothed away some of the dirt and the dried blood on his body before it fell against the cold concrete floor.
“Keito! I’ll call an ambulance right away!” Takaki yelled as the boys crowded around their friends.
“I’ve got him…” Daiki said as the boys turned to see Daiki’s two men holding an unconscious Hakubi.
“Keito… it’ll be okay…. “ Inoo gave him a pat on the back as he tried to move Yuto’s body away.
“NO! You cant take him from me….. not again…..” Keito cried as he hugged the cold figure on the ground.
“You cant take him from me… “ He repeated as he buried his head in the crook of Yuto’s neck and sobbed pitifully.
“You cant take him…………”
