Yay for happy weeks. I want to go to Amsterdam again.

OMG you can read the new Miles online! I just posted the link. I am so dying to have someone to talk to it about.

ahaha, we didn't get any trick or treaters.

I am going to wait to read Cryoburn as a book sorry! Prefer hard copy for a first read - but Baen releasing her other books too?! Very cool, even though I will soon be reunited with my hard copies soon :)

Yes, to be honest I only really skim read it and am looking forward to reading it super in depth Megan's books style when my copy arrives. It's only because I am away from home the weekend it's going to arrive that I'm so tempted to read it properly now. Aaaargh.

I utterly adore Baen for doing this. it's so easy to search for a quote and not have to type it out now.

BABIES. :-D

yeah your box situation sounds like mine (how have I been here for two months and still am so badly organized), just on the opposite end! I wish you luck!

THIS IS AN EXTRA CUTE BABY SO IMAGINE THE BABYNESS.

I won't see the boxes for 2-3 months after we send them so I don't have to worry about the other end for a while :)

...can you at least use them as furniture?

I cannot imagine not having my boxes for months. However, I suppose you have done without some of your things for years now, huh? It sounds like a nice couple of weeks. Nothing more adorable than a gurgling, chattering baby.

Our leaves are just beginning to change. We have a lot of yellow ones, too. Sometimes the green/yellow/brown is just as pretty as the more vibrant ones.

Well we're going to be staying with family for the first couple of months so it will actually be helpful not to have all of our possessions with us! Although I've just realised that if I want to do any shopping in Kuala Lumpur (I am picturing Asian shops as being a paradise filled with clothes and shoes for short people) then I can't actually take all my shoes home with me in my bag. But how do I know which ones I'll need?! And same with party dresses - though I guess I can get by with one :)

If you don't have all the necessary shoes--well, the solution is easy. Buy more! Hope all your shoe dreams come true in Kuala Lumpur.
