Check out the 5th photo here. He was a little confused by the whole thing and dropped the needles, so we had to gather them up again for a photo. By then he *really* had no idea what was going on, hence the "Mama? Huh?" expression on his face... Also, that's kathrynt's arm at the right edge of the photo.

She was very frazzled-looking in Portland today. I think she wants to go home and not talk to anyone for a week. Powell's booked her into a space about a third of the necessary size, instead of the bigger space they put her in (and she filled) last year.

(And she remembered me from last time! Wacky!)

I think she remembered us, too. Of course, last book tour we followed her form one shop to the other, and we also chatted with her when she was out for the Fiber Retreat this winter.
