Alex was just on a field trip there today. Is it 20.00 for the whole series, or is it 20.00 for a single ticket? What would you suggest for an 11 year old? I just listen to the BBC classical station, and sometimes the one in New York, so I don't really know much about classical.

$20 per concert (it's a bit of a misnomer). It's actually possible to get cheaper tickets than this if you don't mind sitting in the top balcony, those are usually about $15 (and there might be a discount for students available).

For the stuff the chorus is in, Carmina Burana's the most fun, though a big chunk of it is about sex (it's in Latin and German, and I certainly don't think it's offensive, but it's worth a heads-up).

For the stuff without the chorus, I'd say Pictures at an Exhibition on April 19th.

K, I will talk to Alex about it. I hear that they actually have a readerboard or some such at the top of the stage so folks can read the dialog translation.

I dont mind Alex hearing about sex stuff. We are fairly open about that. She is still that age where she things penis is the funniest word EVAR. ;) She will also ask questions, so you never know, it might be a good dialog vehicle for her. She gets embarrassed about that sort of thing still.

I will ask her if she would like to go to both. And maybe see if Jason wants to come too. Jason would more than likely want to direct folks to his satisfaction though :)
