Amy Singer emailed me to let me know a yarn shop had reprinted the entirety of my tea cozy pattern in the "our free patterns" section of their website. They do have my name on it, plus "as featured in Knitty," and a link to the original page on Knitty (and with a link, I'm not sure why they felt the need to include all of the text). Yeah, well, I didn't understand it when someone took my Wind-Up Duck tutorial from LambdaMOO and changed the names but nothing else in the text and said it was theirs. I mean, really, I was giving it away, but come on, leave my name in! I wrote it! People are weird.

Why why why why? >.< You would think there would be enough people running a yarn shop to, collectively, know better.

Also: Whoa, reversed in Photoshop. Then you'll never recognize it! =p

Wow, you're kidding! That's so silly and inane... I mean, why bother? It only ends up being frustrating for you and no real gain for anyone else, since it's on the internet already!
