Whee! kathrynt and I are sadly not well-enough known to make the blurb, though. Also of interest to me is CD versions of IK back issues, $20 for a year's worth of issues. I think I may have to get them considering how the kids have been destroying magazines ( Read more... )

Firstly, congrats! Loks like you're in great company there.

I wish they'd release Spin-Off on CD. I'd definitely like to pick up back issues there.

Well, yes. Though there were some parts that were really awesome.

The first soprano part on this piece is physically uncomfortable. That's valuable feedback for a composer, right?

Well, it's 48 hours in, so it's darkened about as much as it's going to, but yes, I was impressed with the depth of color considering backs of hands don't always color as well as palms do. The woman who did it does some lovely work!

Are you two in it? Eeee! My copy of the original has survived more hard wear than any paperback binding should be asked to give, and is correspondingly tattery. It was a wonderful read.

Well, we both submitted projects that were accepted for it, though Interweave reserves the right to use them differently... but after the various bits of communication I've had with the editor, I'm pretty confident that is where it will show up. I have some lace-edged beaded fingerless mitts and Kathryn has baby pants.

The first one is pretty awesome, which is why I jumped all over the call for submissions for the new one.
