"Most Exciting" is not the award you want in the emergency room.

Well, Urgent Care tends to get the not-super exciting things that an E.R. gets, but yeah. The excitement was mostly over the near-faint and subsequent trying to figure out how to work the darned bed, with multiple people scurrying about with a cool washcloth and pillows and stuff. Though the doc said stitches are more fun for him than runny noses.

I sliced the heck out of my knuckle, and they're making me wear a splint to keep from bending the finger while the stuff they sewd together tried to re-attach. I am starting to worry that one edge of it isn't going to make it, which will probably lead to even longer with my finger rendered not very useful. :-(
