Conversation with Wm, after he came home from a preschool field trip to a trout farm:
Did you go fishing?
Yeah!
And did you catch a fish? Did you use a fishing pole (*casting line gesture*) and catch a fish?
Yeah! And I caught it in the net!
And then did you put it back?No, I put it in the bucket! And then it was DANCING

We gave it to Sydney, who had a neighbor who was thrilled to get it. But yeah, we were... bemused and amused. It's a change from construction paper cats, that's for sure.

Apparently the little girl who caught the biggest fish was SUPER excited when they got back.
