I don't know if you realize (I doubt you do)
But I have basically stopped posting on livejournal.
This is because...
No offense...
But there are very, very few... painfully few people on my friends list who I'd care to divulge my personal thoughts to. Or, for that matter, even talk to. I don't write anything even a tad meaningful anymore, because ( Read more... )

Haha I'm not going to defend myself after what I just wrote (assuming you are being sarcastic!). Think what you will, but it's my livejournal, and if I can't be self-righteous when I feel like it, we may as well censor out swear words and other imperfections in my personality : )
I can be very self-righteous at times, yes.

I don't post here anymore either... just when i need to get intouch with a large group of people... although that group is slowly deminishing.

That anonymous individual who glares down at you with judgmental eyes has you down to a tee: You are so self-righteous.

Seriously, though, I congratulate you for being able to live a lifestyle independent of LiveJournal's iron grip. I hope that you still consider my LiveJournal interesting and take the time to swing by to occasionally read whatever crap I've posted -- although I have so many ignorant people riding my ass to finish other projects I don't have much time these days to write what I'd like to, or to finish writing what I've started, I still hope to someday continue writing the way I'd like, and in the meantime, I hope that you still use my journal as a way to keep in touch (Lord knows that between my work and my... other work... I don't get out very much).

I've also been aiming, despite the opposing pressure, to exercise honesty -- a quality that seems to diminish in value with each passing day ( ... )
