Just got back the first roll of film from my new camera. They are lovely. Well, most of them. There are a couple that I hate. And a couple which I shot at 30 shutter speed... I dunno, I used to shoot at 30 all the time, and although most people can't do that without a tripod, my pictures never had shuttershake. But all my 30s have shuttershake on ( Read more... )

In the Rocktagon video I posted at my MySpace account a little while ago, the close-ups of Will's drumming and Mark's, er, keyboarding, were both shot using a 1/180 shutter speed......

...........just thought I'd try to sound shutter-savvy like you, Emma. I like to pretend I know as much as you.

Haha I don't know nearly as much as you seem to think I know. I took an ameteur photography course... I'm hardly an expert. The simple principles of photography could be learned in an hour.

Hey Emma,

I was just talking to Becky and realized that allthough I had made a mental note to offer this I had always forgotten when I was with you. There's a darkroom in my basement you can use whenever you want. Just hook me up with money to cover chemicals. And if you want to do alot, I can make an "Emma" shelf for you to keep your own.

Also: how does a movie camera have a shutter speed? Is it the length of a frame?

Cheers,
will
