Had the worst panic attack I've had for over a year today... in therapy. Yeah that was fun. I guess it helped her to see what I'm up against - random panic attacks for no easily discernable reason and fear of pretty much everything! She's so nice, why does she have to leave in a couple of months ( Read more... )

It's always that way - animals get their cutest when they know there's no camera nearby.
I HATE panic attacks. It's like - you can tell yourself to stop and everything's fine and you need to breathe, already, but because all that is the intellectual approach, it just does not work. Which sucks.

*huggles* Thanks. Yeah the common sense/intellectual approach so does not work for me! I've managed to gain a bit of control over them though, which is nice.

I think the best way of capturing animal cuteness would have to be CCTV or something! Even when I try to take photos of them they usually move just out of shot or something - I have lots of rat butt and rat tail photos!

That sucks about your panic attack. Hope you're already better now that I write this comment.

BTW, have you tried relaxation exercises against your anxiety? I was given an audio tape with some stuff called "progressive muscle relaxation" (or whatever it's called in English) once, and it did ZERO for me. But maybe it could help you get some focus and concentration back?

Thank you. I'm feeling a bit better now, but still really anxious :S

It's called Progressive Muscle Relaxation here too ;) I've tried it once, but always found that I needed some nice relaxing music on at the same time or I still think to much. It might be worth me trying again though, if I can find a way that works for me, so thanks for that suggestion. :)
