Split personalities are such a lame plot device in just about everything. There was a Highlander episode where this immortal was desperately hunting for the man who killed his girlfriend. ...Aaaand, it turned out that his own split personality did it. When he was 'normal,' he'd wear glasses, but when his 'evil self' came out, he would take the glasses off and sneer at people. So cheesy.

(Though, I think the science fiction equivalent, where two people share a mind, is sometimes interesting. But in those situations, there tends to be direct conflict between 'personalities.')

We completely agree with the statement on cheesy split personality storylines

SHUT UP! NO WE DON'T THEY ARE GREAT PLOT FILLERS!

No they are not, they suck and and are over used. I am sorry about that sometimes he can be so contradictory.

:P

rofl, I'm totally imagining a Clark Kent situation. Glasses = nerdy desk job; without glasses = insta-costume that nobody can recognize! XD

The part that bugs me is that criminal minds tries to be all "facts about crazy criminal behaviour" but in reality, most multiple personality cases have been proved to be hoaxes. They do talk about a lot of shit that comes straight out of some of my crim books though, lol.
