Guh, work. I feel like I'm doing too much of it. As much as I enjoy my job (all things considered) I don't know if I'm ready for the full time thing, which is more or less what I've been doing lately. And my boss, while certainly appreciative, is treating me like an adult, like I can handle it, which I can, but still. We take way too much for

you're not actually working full time. it just feels like it. full time is 40 hours a week. you're probably working more like 30.
but the reality of your situation is that (despite car payments and our love of a lavish lifestyle) you don't really need all that much money right now. you're living rent free, and not paying bills, so if you feel like you're overworked and that you aren't spending enough time writing you should talk to your boss about it. you know you're the best waiter she's got, she doesn't want to lose you. so tell her that you haven't had the time to write as much as you want to, and since writing is what's important to you, you're going to need to work less. she did just hire a new girl. that should be able to take some of the pressure off.
