and for 6 months, i lived in an apartment with no oven, which neither the roommates or the landlord mentioned before i moved in- but i just did baking at friends' houses, or carried things to my cousin's place, which was down the street. still, annoying.

practically speaking, i would start by giving it a funny name so you feel better about having a toaster over to cook with. also just experiment on toast. it also depends on what settings you have on it. ours had "toast" "crisp" "cook" and "bake" i think. they all have slightly different effects when it comes to crispyness and how well your food is cooked.
it should have a manual that explains exactly how to bake with it, but watch out cause ours would cook stuff really well on the outside and it'd be cold on the inside. basically you're fucked. good luck!
