I've had control of them before. Typically I fly and leap over buildings and beat people up and stuff.

One of the weird dreams I had was when I was in a mental asylum, and said, "Hah! This is totally a dream!" I closed my eyes and told myself I'd wake up... and didn't wake up. After a few more tries, I was convinced I wasn't dreaming and it was real. Waking up had never been such a relief. Definitely a strange dream, in the whole aware-unaware sense.

I've had something similar to that happen before, where I would 'wake up' and go about my waking life then realize that I was still dreaming, and possibly repeat this process several times.
