I totally said that same thing about student teaching... a professional by day, college student by night. It's actually kind of a nice transition into what the "real world" is like, though... except for the fact that when you're in the real world, you're living by yourself, without your friends next door. And oh yeah, as much as you think student teaching is the real thing, there's a lot of stuff you won't have to do during student teaching that you'll have to do as a real teacher. So... savor this time. I'd love to have back some of the aspects of college life - though I seem to be here an awful lot anyway (and I will admit, the paycheck that comes along with a real job is a bonus). :( ...regardless, hopefully I'll find some friends in Muncy soon. ...thanks for coming to say hi last night; it really is great to see everyone when I'm here. I hope I don't seem as if I don't want to see people - I just don't, well, you know... want to be that girl who never graduated.
Ahhhhh student teaching. Those were the days. It IS a strange feeling. And trust me, don't stress to much over things. You will always do better than you think you will!
