Part 2 of ??? (a lot because this already has over 3,000 words and it doesn’t even seem like I’ve written anything LOL)

“The relationship that had started out on hate had turned to a friendship…or something like one but with benefits.”

“MICHAEL!”

“I’m coming, Jesus.” He turned to make sure Gavin waited a little bit before leaving the woods because he really didn’t need people asking questions as to why they were coming out of the woods together. Looking disheveled. And Michael not wearing underwear. (not that people could tell it’s just Michael was paranoid that everyone knew)

Geoff stood there, annoyed (as usual), with bags under his eyes and arms crossed. He handed the shotgun off to Michael once he got close enough. “Where’s Gav?”

Michael’s eyebrows furrowed, “Why the Hell would I know?” (He tried to ignore the heat rising in his face)

“Jeez, sorry to get yer’ panties in a bunch.”  He motioned to Joel sitting near one the tents, “Go on patrol with Joel.”

Joel looked up at the mention of his name and grimaced. The older man strode past Michael muttering. “Fuckin’ Gavino.”

“Where the Hell have you been?”

Once Michael and Joel were gone Gavin had come out of hiding. It was a fool proof plan, really. If he was gone he couldn’t go on patrol and it gave him time to wash his clothes.  “I was out. Doing stuff.”

Geoff just rolled his eyes, “Well whatever, it doesn’t matter anymore.”

Gavin rocked back and forth on his heels with his hands in his pockets, “Well, if anyone needs me I’ll be washing my clothes.”

“Yeah, yeah, whatever.”

The Brit started to hike down to the pond where they went to wash. Walking down the dirt path, he kept his hands in his pockets with one hand clenched around Michael’s balled up boxers. He smiled. True to form Michael was his “dirty little secret” and even so, he wouldn’t give two shits if the others found out. The relationship that had started out on hate had turned to a friendship…or something like one but with benefits.

When the body of water was view Gavin’s smile grew. He had the whole pond to himself and someone had left a bar of soap on a nearby rock.

Gav walked on into the water about three meters or so before plopping down, cross legged and wielding the soap. The water came to his stomach above his belly button so he just took he shorts off and began scrubbing at the fabric with the soap.

Michael would give two shits if the others knew. In fact, Gavin supposed he would give a lot of fucks if they knew. That was just the way he was. That and the fact that their whole reason for being together (if one would call it that) only came about because…Gavin shook his head. He didn’t like thinking about that.

That wasn’t something he wanted to think about ever again.

DUN DUN DUN DUUUN.

Short chapter is short.

The next chapter might be longish and probably won’t revolve all around Michael and Gavin.
