I'm teaching!

Teaching is easy and fun! as long as you don't have to invent exams or homework assignments.

It may help to think of it as a variety of public performance; you need stage presence, you need to project your voice, you need to capture and hold everyone's attention, you need to make it interesting for your audience.

I think I'm finally getting good at teaching sections. I dread the day they ask me to lecture.

I think you'll do well at it -- one of the most essential aspects of any teacher is an enthusiasm for the subject, and you have that in spades. If you manage to infect the students with it, they'll forgive you your inexperience. :)

And with something like this, the more you do, the more you yourself get to learn about it. Yay teaching!

Very cool!

Yay, Tech Shop. That place is wicked cool, and one of these days I need to prompt ef2p to actually join, rather than just intend to.

I recommend sooner rather than later. The current membership cap is 500, after which there'll be a waiting list.
