So there was a 5.6 quake just a few miles from me at 8:05pm tonight. I was still at work, on the 2nd floor. The building started shaking like mad, growing over time. Took me about five seconds to figure out what was happening, and then I crawled under my desk for the remaining fifteen or twenty seconds

Of course, "hiding somewhere" is that cat's default state... ;-)

Not so much these days. Her "normal" state seems to be " within five feet of Emmett".

Aw, she's spooked? I'd look around for her for a while. Make sure nothing actually fell on her.

Yeah, I looked around everything that could have fallen, but she was, in fact, hiding. She came out shortly after midnight. :)
