We hopped on the train, which looked more like a bus but really was a train, and took our seats in the way back inside of the train car. There was only one train car, so it REALLY looked like a bus, and they told us that this was because it was off season. Wow! That's sure not what I meant! I was struck by the brightness and variety of the colors of Ecuador, especially in the Andes. Their clothing, their hats and ribbons, the people themselves (yep, their skin), the richness of their cultures and languages, and the vivid colors of their farms, fields, and buildings. Colorfulness!
