How are you and Matt, anyway? Been up to anything exciting?

Buying a house (how grown up are we!) is filling most of the spare time at the moment. We have a mortgage sorted out and a solicitor sending us a quote and we've looked at all these houses and finally picked one.

Undoubtedly there will be a housewarming at some point if all goes according to plan and doesn't fall through.

Unfortunately it is deeper in the heart of Essex (Basildon/Laindon) and off the end of the underground network, where all the woman wear white stilettos, have 10 kids and drink Bacardi Breezers at clubs with names like 'Jumpin' Jaks' (shudder.....)

I've noticed these things tend to work out for the best even if they don't go the way you want. What will be will be, I guess.
