Since I'm digging up everything I've done in the last week or so, have the vidlet I made *coughlastminutecough* for twelvecolonies  too!  (YAY CYLONS!)  I changed a few things when I opened it up to add a title, like the intro and...some other stuff, heh.

I'm glad you like it! This is by far the most outright creepy song I had associated with the Eights.

Gorgeous. The fades make it feel like you're plunging in and being pulled out, and then the guitar hits with the more violent stuff. It's creepy and sad and soft and hard at the same time.

Hee, I understand. Someday I'll go back and fix/remove the random things that still drive me nuts in my Jean vidlet. Makes my fingers twitch every time, I tell you. :)

Oh, Boomer. Thank goodness people are making vids for you!

Yeah, but was Boomer ever free? I don't think so. What do you do when someone steals your life, your love, your hope? She tried with New Caprica. If Boomer didn't get to be free, I hope the other Eights felt free. And her memories are part of theirs, I think. Identity is a tricky thing with the Eights. What memories are hers vs. theirs? Talk about sisters sharing everything. Even identity.

I like your fades in your vids. Very smooth. It just feels like an eye blinking, upon different scenes. In this vid I particularly like Boomer's look at Caprica in the apartment and her touching the raider. Very nice! I like seeing vid!cookie icon pop up on my reading list!

Girl needs some more vids! Though they're very likely to all be unbearably sad. :(

I don't think she was entirely free either, but that moment always hits me, because it's the first time in her story she had the freedom to make that choice at all. And oh how I wish it hadn't gone so spectacularly FUBAR on her, but yeah. I love that moment anyway. :)

She's interesting too as the opposite of Athena, who was the copy that became the real Sharon, with Boomer as the original who turned into the Other. Memories are tricky things indeed.

(As a side note: this is the song I associate for them together.)
