dumping excess words
1) Made progress in making a camera today! Did very little else.
2) I've caught up on Korra finally too and:
Ahhh, these last two kind of stopped up my brain a little. There's streamlining the story and then there's whiplash.
A bunch of things just shot by that I wish they'd spend some more time on, but especially the characters (KORRA! PEMA? ASAMI'S FEELINGS.) And the non-bender crackdown. And wherever the paparazzi ran off to when actual news was happening. Mostly, I'm loving and flailing about nearly all of the individual bits and twitching with new anxiety about where it's going. Because I'm horrible at guessing.
I've decided that the newsreel recaps at the beginnings really annoy me though. It's a cool style that does nothing for me here, especially when they are not using the news to do anything. Because if ever there was a time for Korra to make a speech? IT WAS LAST EPISODE. Man, I just want so much more of her interacting with Republic City in a way that doesn't include punching people. Bless her. <3
