Well, I just pulled up the carpet in the living room of our new house, and let me tell you it was a lot more difficult than I thought. I was cutting and hammering and pulling up floorboards and nails. It was so great

My mom used the excuse "well, you're leaving" as if the only way she could possibly stand my artwork would be if I were there with her. Whatev mom.

I don't know when the party will be, I haven't really thought about it. Things are busy, are you still going on the trip? If there is still a trip, who knows. Anyway, the party will most likely happen in august sometime.

i know what you mean by missing something like that; i get that feeling whenever i watch a basketball game, since i had to quit when i hurt my shoulder. boo urns. you should take dancing back up again; i'd pay to see you too. :)

oh, and if i owned my house, instead of my parents owning it, i'd have you paint a mural in my bathroom. you're a hella good painter. :)

I remembered that you used to play basketball and thought about you and Leah when I wrote this entry. We all went through similar situations and I knew that you would understand what I was feeling.

Anyway, I think my dad, grandpa and I are going over to the house tonight to pull up more carpeting. If you wanna come, call me. It would be way more fun with a friend there to keep me company.

aww, ballet! i tried that in kindergarten, but i hated it! mm, tchaikovsky! russian ballet is the best. i love classical music, of course, being a flutist.

Um, so guess what. I totally played flute all through high school! So let's see: former ballet dancers, flautists, classical music lovers, McDavid livers, same foreign language teacher...havers, we are obviously the coolest people ever!! yes, we should hang out. I am having a housewarming party sometime, and even though I have not officially invited anybody yet or even set a date, you should come. They don't know about it yet, but hopefully our common live journal friends will be there.

crazy! actually, i was not in ms. chabot's class, but i was a foreign language lab assistant first semester of my senior year, so i was kind of all over the department.

that's so cool that you played the flute, though! so you were in band? there was an oboe player in my orchestra who was in metro's band! are you doing any of the college bands? you should be in u-band if nothing else! i hear it is pretty relaxed, as in they practice for two hours once a week.

I'm not in anything of a band nature. I kind of had a bad experience with band, or I guess it was just the teacher that I had a bad experience with. In any case, I left high school with a bad feeling about band and am now sort of regretting not joining any classes.
