Laundry
I am sitting around waiting for my apron to dry before I head off to work. It was an after thought last night before falling alseep. I figure I would just hand wash it and then throw it in the dryer. It is such a little thing that was so dirty and I hope it dries in time. Makes me want to dig out the play 'Our Town' and read it just one more ( Read more... ) -
Another success...
Got home from poetry night at the Blackbird just a little bit ago. Read two poems by Austin and sang two songs not by Austin. I had fun. That's all that counts. Need to go sleep now. -
End of a weekend....
Had too busy of a weekend though it was worth it.
Friday, Austin and I headed down to Savannah. Saturday, we were up in Peachtree City. Sunday, we hit up Dragon*Con for part of the day. We met Marv Wolfman (Tomb of Dracula, Teen Titans). Trying to finish breakfast. Excited because we have another set of hands to help out front on the floor. Still have not looked at any photos of the mass destruction caused by the hurricane. I'm about to hit the bed and start the week over again. Have to huge things going on at work near the end of this week before heading to Savannah on Friday. Gonna be down there through Saturday then the plan is to head to Dragon*Con on Sunday. So maybe I'll see you there. That's the plan anyway. =) I think it'll be a good one.

My best friend Laura is moving to Kentucky. I found this out recently. She is really happy about it. I am really going to miss her. We've been best friends since 6th grade. I am now into my 8th year of college. So ( Read more... ) -

Some days I just want to scream. Today is just one of those days where I do, and I did. At least I was able to wait until I got home. Tonight will be better. I have to back at work at 6pm. Attended my first real poetry night here in M'ville at the Blackbird. Read three poems and sang one song lyric (very crappily I might add but hey! I was nervous). It went well. I hope anyway.
