10. 7.21 promo. Angels, blech. Screw 'em, seriously. Castiel: "I'm sorry, Dean." Me: "Good, now go away."
I really enjoyed this episode (especially Charlie). Parts of it felt very much like an episode of 'Leverage,' and now I want a crossover, hee. (I think the box contains something they can use or turn into a weapon against the Leviathans - maybe instructions on how to build one)
It's rather good actually, though hubby and I only watch it when we happen to catch it. Essentially it's about a group of thieves that steal from the wealthy & powerful and give back to the people they've screwed over. They kind of take cases when people come to them for help. The way the episode was edited especially, made it feel like Leverage.
tablet with some weird inscriptions on it. Instruction manual, like you said? That's what I'm thinking. What do you want to bet the inscriptions are at least partially in Enochian and that's why they go to that angel guy? ::cough:: Sam should have picked up Enochian from Lucifer though, just saying ::cough::
Either that or it's a portable version of the Rosetta Stone ; )

Sounds awesome. :D
IKR? I love that bit of fanon that says that Sam knows Enochian because of his time in the Cage. And I don't know if they can go to an angel, per se (unless they're crazy and want to summon one). From what I understand (and I could be wrong), some angel finds out that Castiel's alive and wants to kick his ass for leaving Heaven in tatters. Or something.

I think it would be cool if Sam knew Enochian the way I know Yiddish: just the endearments, terms of abuse, lamentations, and elaborate curses. Stuff that the native speakers don't want to say in the clear. But you're right: it would take more than a couple of centuries of torture to turn off Sam's big learning machine of a brain

That'd be really, really cool--Sam randomly spouting Enochian words in times of stress, much like we resort to our native languages.
It's interesting that the Leviathans are looking for "cures" for stuff like heart disease and diabetes while propagating the risk factors for those diseases. It's probably a balance they'll reach in the long term. I'm still bemused that the Leviathans suddenly possess such intimate knowledge of the molecular mechanisms of human diseases that they think they can find sure-fire solutions in such a short time.
Thank you! Things are getting a little more settled now. :)
SamnDean's commentary on the contents of their inbox would be, uh, interesting, I agree. :p
What I really want to know is who "Maisy W." is. Distantly related fussy aunt that neither of them want to talk about but are secretly fond of? IDEK. There needs to be fiiiiiic, I say.
Sam writing "take a nap and we'll stop by the grocery store on our way home..."
LMAO. Thia needs to happen. YESSSSSS.

Haha. Perfect response is perfect. :D
I've seen quite a few people say that this episode was like Leverage. Never actually seen that show, though.
A frame from the promo for next week shows a tablet with some weird inscriptions on it. Instruction manual, like you said?
