I hope the folks in the path of Sandy are doing okay; coincidentally, a cyclone is forecast to hit my city tomorrow--it's been raining pretty heavily, and it's likely we'll get the day off tomorrow

Thank you--I'm mostly recovered now. :) Inclement weather's been pushing upper respiratory infections practically everywhere.

There was a lot of wind, rain and fallen trees, but I believe the worst of it was further down the coast from my city.

Doing okay here in the Bronx! We lost a bunch of trees, but that's about it thus far.

That's good to hear. :) My cousin lives in the Bronx, too, so it's doubly good news.

The cyclone's come and gone--I've been on campus and haven't really been listening to the news, but it seems the city came out okay. Places further down the coast have been hit harder, though.
