I have a new journal! duckondebut is for fannish stuff in fandoms that, well, aren't Supernatural (shocker, I know). I've recently gotten really into House MD and Chicago Fire, so that's where it'll go.

I already have a CF fic written--about five minutes after finishing it, I realised this was the first non-SPN thing I've written and completed in four years. I

Duckworth/Lewis! It can either be a harbinger of great joy or unendurable agony, depending on the side you're on. (Unless you're South African, in which case it's just agony from beginning to end.)

It adds that splash of ~drama, is all I'm sayin'. And cricket does love its drama. I just checked out cricinfo--England just lost its first Test against India--and one of its main headlines is "England in a world of pain." ROFL.

Did you know there is a band called the Duckworth Lewis Method? The lead singer from Divine Comedy headlines it, and they are rather silly and good. Of course their songs are about cricket....

Oh, LOL. I thought you were asking me about the actual D/L method! Cricket fans are very divided on it, so I thought--so silly of me. :p
