So, I totally understand how a guy being too generous and nice is annoying, but perhaps you can train it out of him. Dude - he bought you stuff. Maybe you're not into that, but if a guy buys things for me, i'm pretty happy.

I agree with Jen. Go with him! If him being that nice buggs you then at least tell him. If you tell him and he still insists on being annoyingly nice then dump him.

meh. go with him if you WANT to. if you don't want to, then don't...it would be mean to go with him just because he buys you stuffs though...that is what we like to call "leading him on". :) and you're too considerate of other peoples' emotions for that.
