Have you tried offering him on Craigs List for the St. Louis area? They have a "Pets board"

oh God.... thank you hon. I didn't even THINK about craig's list and I just sold my damn furniture on that site. Now I am a real shithead...

I will go ahead and post him there and refer people to the humane society.
