So I am getting really excited for ACen. My first project is almost done, minus a few fun details. Hahah, those peeps in the steampunk picture you linked were at the GDC, and we ended up hanging out with some of them on and off. They are all from atlanta and the guy with the armor, (standing up) made ALL of their stuff. I was so utterly and completely in love with the girl on the right. Omg.

Your cosplay looks fantastic and your steampunk makes me sooo warm and happy.

I have one costume for ACen but I can't commit to a second idea. I am so full of ideas but not so full of money or time to dress up :-(

I love the steampunk pics, especially the brown jacket. How did you do the short pigtails? I'd love to try that hairstyle for my new Tremere....

I just tried looking up a tutorial online, but I don't know what the style is called. But what I did was, pull my hair back into the pigtails and I tied the hair, not right next to my scalp, but a little farther down. Then I parted the pulled a hole between my head and the hair tie and pulled the hair through it. I did it twice to make it that short and then I used another hair tie to hold it there.

If you still can't figure it out I could make a little video sometime. I am horrible at explaining things.
