honestly, i would. a lot of that stems from the fact that i was in europe the day after they bombed kosovo (less than 200 miles away). while this is a slightly different situation than the one we are in now, i really think your brother will be safe. of all the places terrorists will target, disney world will probably not be one of them. terrorists, for the most part, like to hit the financial district of the united states, because that is the part of america that keeps us running. yes, they could target ballparks and amusement parks, but they probably won't--because those are not the things that make america the super power that it is. if the school were worried, they would cancel the trip. i know that my old high school is right now re-evaluating all spring break trips and deciding whether or not they will be allowed to (one to france and one to mexico), and i would imagine that your school is doing the same. if your mom is really concerned (which i'm sure she is, duh), she should call the principal or the band director and list out ( ... )

really? i would imagine that those were cancelled being due to them being in close vicinity to where the last terrorist attacks took place. however, if they've made steps to cancel those trips, i wouldn't be surprised if they cancelled your brother's too.

I don't know how late this is coming in, but my family went to Disney Land right after 9/11. There was barely anyone there. It was so great because there were barely any lines. I don't think anything would happen to Disney Lands. There are other placees that would gain more focus.

my brother went at the beginning of april.. and i don't know if you heard about it or not... there were no terrorist attacks of anything, BUT, the three buses taking them to florida crashed when they were 20 minutes outside of orlando. (it was all over the news, including CNN and all that great stuff!)

but yeah.. they made it back safely! :) and they had a great time.. disney world gave them $6000 worth of free stuff!

Wow! That is totally cool! I bet it was great. I always wanted to go for my senior class trip cause I thought it'd be fun to go with friends, but by the time it rolled around, I had no friends and didn't go.

i don't think disney world is really all it's made up to be. i don't know.. i mean, i know people who are obsessed with it and everything. seriously. there's so much to see.. but yeah.. for some reason i think i would only like parts of it and then it would get boring after awhile.. so yeah.. i dunno.

i still wish i could have gone with our music dept. despite the fact that the buses crashed.
