So I saw "Clash of the Titans" today (Danbary Tuesdays, what up!).
I don't even know where to begin. There was a lot of potential with this movie, but it just, I don't even know what I watched. Seriously. The whole time I'm all, "Okay. So Aslan is Zeus and Voldemort is Hades and we don't care about any of the other gods because they're not hot and there's Perseus and he does something and is gonna hook up with the girl who was the princess in 'Prince of Persia' and that's the bad dude from 'Casino Royale' but he's good and WHAT IS GOING ON?"
It was like they rushed through a non-existent plot to show of the special effects. There was no character development and outside of Perseus, Zeus, and Hades, I don't know any of the characters names. Or really care about any of them. And this Kraken sucked (if I were to have a pet Kraken I'd rather have the one from "Dead Man's Chest", thankyouverymuch).
By the end of the movie I was longing for Percy Jackson. I had my quibbles with "The Lightning Thief", but at least it was enjoyable. This movie? not so much. It was just a loud ball of CGI, bad hair, and crazy accents.
