For me, it depends on one's definition of monogamy. I'm don't completely believe in monogamy for myself and will only do it if the person I'm with is worth it. Luckily, I hit gold with Curt, so we were able to set down rules for what constitutes as cheating and what constitutes as allowed. That's what works for us. Other people *shrugs* that's their business. I think most of it is that couples don't discuss this when they first start dating and that's what leads to problems down the line.

exactly, but in this instance(s) that amy is referring too, has not been discussed by the couple. Or has and it's not ok. :)

I'm mostly talking about monogamous couples. For polygamous couples it's a completely different story, but like you said the boundaries must be set.

Also, from what I've seen, most polygamous couples are both seeking people on the side, not just one getting drunk at parties and making out with people of the same sex and not thinking a thing of it.

I don't care if David made out with a guy or a girl or whatever at a party. I'd still be pissed. And he feels the same way.
