Hey hun sorry to be a bother, but i was just curious as to how you changed your journal into a community because i made my portfolio just a journal & it's gotten larger than expected & i'd like to do the same, change it into a community & keep the name. You'd be my hero if you'd let me know <3 xxx

first off, you have to delete ALL of the entries of the journal you want to change into a community (you have to do this before it is converted). after all the entries have been deleted,you have to go to http://www.livejournal.com/community/create.bml

and put in the name of the journal.

it will then promt you to name a maintainer. then you name the journal that you want to be the maintainer and you're.

I did the instructions here by my own memory and what I did, so I suggest you double check with someone, before you do things 100% like how I told you and something goes wrong ^^. A good place to check with is everything_lj. I checked the FAQ and I couldn't find it... but maybe you probably can ^^

Are the RubySlippers your design? I would love to use them on occasion. I am changing the theme of my diary to The Red Shoe Diaries....and, of course, they are the most famous red shoes. Can you let me know if I may d/l the icon and credit you? Thank you so much. Your site is sooo nice.
