I wish I could help people in time of need in LA, but just like the not so well off, I do not have sufficient funds, to donate or be there. What sucks is that, I believe the people that couldn't leave from LA were just of lower class income whom don't have means of transportation, the city didn't provide free transportation out of town, which if it ( Read more... )

i absolutely agree with the fact that most of the people that stayed didn't have sufficient transportation, but what about the super dome? at least they had that option. man.. if it came down to it i'd be hauling ass on foot.

making a mad dash like a one-legged man on stilts.

yeh, i have no sufficient funds either but i really wanted to help, so i came up w/ a disaster relief fund idea... bri has called the radio stations for me and talked to the promotions directors about my idea and they will be calling us back tomorrow. if this follows through, a lot of money will be given to LA.

i completely agree with you. you should look at my last post! the government could have done SOOO much more and saved sooo many lives if they just provided transportation for the people who didnt have any. they could have flown so many people out of there.... its just ridiculous. im soo angry at how poorly this was handled.
