Lisbon and an Absolutely Mad Dash Through JFK
Friday, June 30th, Day 57, 16:00 - My flight wouldn't be until 23:40. This probably will not make you feel any better but until fairly recently TAP flights at JFK arrived and departed from Terminal 5. I am not sure why they moved to 1, which is slated to be demolished and replaced.
$90 taxi?!?! Was the hotel in NJ?? We pay less than that to take and Uber/Lyft from our house in NJ to JFK.

Yeah I'm pretty sure he was gouging the shit out of me. It was in Queens not far at all from the airport.

Just reading through your stressful time at JFK brought back nightmare memories of a similar situation we went through there some years ago. We just never ever fly through JFK any longer. Too much stress!
I'm glad you got where you needed to go eventually but man...that was a bad time for you.

I wonder if it was some outreach auxiliary or something, it definitely wasn't just fans wearing the uniform, it was a bunch of young men all wearing the complete uniform and one or two older coach-like adults.
