They were really bad, yo. For a little while there, I thought I had somehow channelled myself to a state fair sidestage.

However, I must say my overall assessment may have come off too harshly because - in my mind - no one can compare to my JEW. And TBS was absolutely wonderful. And Mates of State just didn't match up. They may be really good... just not as good in comparison to the rest.

I'm biased. Biased friends are always necessary.

Well, I don't even know why Mates of State were playing with them. Mates of State are like... indie pop/rock, not three-chord pop-punk. They have nothing in common with JEW and TBS.

I hate it when booking agents suck at their jobs.
