im going there to do want any spaniard would.... fuck all the (hot) women and make their race into half spanish half japanese mix...if only we didnt stop the quest when we got to the Philippines
yeah we walked a lot, and took the trains. we went astray once on a bus, and got lost with a taxi driver. there's so many trains though, you dont need to rent a car. the streets are so narrow and filled with people i dont see how anyone bothers to drive there anyway.
one more thing about the toilets...they dont come with toilet paper a lot, so you have to buy it from a vending machine or get it from someone giving them away for free with their advertisements printed on it lol
also, you get used to not having soap or paper towels...even in restaurants :/ i was like "hello e. coli!"
you guys should go! you'd totally stick out though, so be prepared for the children and old people to watch you. :)
Japanese people hate filipinos. definitely want to go to Japan just to hang in the suburbs but Kyoto has always been a place I wanted to visit. i'm not suprised that you did not see those anime stores. even in Japan, anime fans are made fun of so they keep it on the DL. They has this thing called shame.
sumimasen=excuse me! :-( you've just taken my dream vacation. did you go to akihabara?
i can say with absolutely no qualms that i am completely jealous. i'm learning japanese, i watch japanese t.v shows that are still on there air, i love anime and toys, i love japanese cuisine.......i am envious:-(
no, we didn't go to akihabara. is that in tokyo? Tokyo was about 3 hours away from us. "Den Den Town" is the name of the electronics district in Osaka that sold all the anime stuff allegedly, but I didn't go because we were finding that the shopping districts were all really high end, expensive stuff.
Japanese is a cool language, thats neat that you're learning it!
