can you tell me where the "hi kid's we're home early" quote is from? my brother and i keep quoting it! cool LJ :)

"Hi kids, we're home early..." is quoted from the Talkboy (think Home Alone 2: Lost in New York) commercial that ran circa 1995. The commercial's protagonist, a young mischevious lad of about 12, records said message, then replays it *in slow motion* just as his sister and her presumed boyfriend are about to engage in a bit of sexually charged cuddling, thus startling the passionate duo.

It was, I think, one of the best commercials ever.

oh my gosh!! yes!! thank you! i quote it all the time. and i'm always like, "hey i remember the 'hi kids we're home early' being really slow for some reason." it IS the best commerical ever!! thanks cool friend :)
