I hadn't read the book but was very unimpressed with this one.

the book had so much more focus on the despair of harry as all his strengths from others was being taken away from him and they had this amazing cathartic scene where he trashes dumbledore's office screaming for explanations and it was turned into a small spiel that was so non emotional it was horrible
the book was bad ass

If they continue to fuck up the potter movies by toning them down and cutting critical points then its just going to screw the finale which will just make all the great stuff they did in the beginning pointless

and I definitely agree with you on them cutting out the whole ron playing quidditch story line was idiotic
